This Thursday the Macallan and Abacus are launching a brand new cocktail and we wanted to invite you and your readers to.  It was created by Abacus for their bar menu.  The event is from 6 to 8pm at Abacus, no RSVP necessary.  They will be serving The Macallan Sherry Oak 18 with the ice ball, and The Macallan Cocktail, which uses The Macallan Sherry Oak 12.

Free appetizers will be provided and the first drink is also provided.  Below is the recipe for the cocktail that will be launching.

The Macallan Cocktail

Macallan 12
Ginger ale

Take 1.5oz The Macallan 12; 1oz of Cointreau; dash of bitters; squeeze of lime and mint over ice. Shake then fill Ginger ale to top.  Garnish with mint.
