Whether it’s romantic ballads “when love is in the air” or upbeat tunes for business types who need to decompress, Erik says “the room isn’t about me, it’s about the people who inhabit it.” Nevertheless, the Library Bar wouldn’t be the same without its main man. Erik holds degrees from Yale College (B.A.), Washington State University (M.A.), and he conducted doctoral studies at the University of North Texas. He has performed concerts in many of the major cities and played with four orchestras.

My Sister in This House Pay-what-You-can Preview
8pm @ The Bath House Cultural Center
My Sister in This House, which often echoes Jean Genet’s The Maids, is based on an actual incident that took place in the French town of Le Mans, France in the early 1930s. It centers on the lives of Christine and Lea, two servant sisters attached to the Danzard household. The Danzards’, mother and daughter, are models of petit bourgeois idleness and severity. While suffocating under the weight of the Danzards’ authority and the rigid lines of class distinction, Christine and Lea have only each other to cling to. This pressure cooker atmosphere – part psychological study and part thriller – results in a haunting and stunning emotional explosion.
